On October 17th we’ll be hosting our first Manchester My Friend Charlie evening, right in the heart of the city centre. We couldn’t think of anything better than sipping wine and being hosted by the amazing Sicilian wine experts at Veeno.
We’ll be tasting six wines to be precise and putting our wine expertise into practice whilst making new friends, getting offline and connecting in real life. They say that ‘Thirsty Thursday’ is the new Friday and we’re definitely in the mood for trying a few of Italy’s finest grapes!
This evening will be sure to give you a taste of what is yet to come for singles events with a difference in Manchester, curated by My Friend Charlie.
You can expect great company, friendly hosts, new experiences and an expanded social circle. Plus, you never know you who might meet romantically by meeting in real life, getting offline and getting connected. - that’s why you’re picking an event and not an online profile to meet like-minded people.

4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
